I built my house in San Miguel in 3 phases. I learned so much! I had the experience of working with local architects but then designed my guest house and laundry on my own… loved the process!
The second big project I took on here in San Miguel was a total renovation of a house in Guadalupe . Feeling lots of success after Santa Fe I went to work on creating a lovely 2 bedroom 2 1/2 bath rental home. Fun!
Much of my “can do” spirit for building and renovating came from my houses in the US. Lots of big and small renovations done while I was married but the one that feels like the biggest accomplishment was when I – on my own – built a house in Stonington, CT.
